The companys new service compliments its existing support of Mono ASP.NET and it will allow users to perform a multi-step migration from Microsofts .NET Framework to the inexpensive Mono platform and free databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

According to the company, GrokThis.net is the oldest commercial provider of hosting solutions based on Mono ASP.NET - a free implementation of the .NET framework written under the General Public License (GPL).
